Brooklyn Girls Read Logo

We’re best friends, both born and raised in Brooklyn, who created Brooklyn Girls Read, an Instagram page and a book club, to connect with our friends and to discuss the books we read and love. We love to read. It was our way out and back home.

Join us as we read from Black, Brown, and Indigenous authors,

engage in fellowship, and learn together.

We’re excited to once again partner with Cafe con Libros, an Afro-Latinx owned and operated bookstore who reps Brooklyn as hard as we do. They have graciously offered our readers a 10% discount with code “BGR22” at checkout. If you are able, join us as we support a small Black business and read along with us this year! We will continue to meet virtually throughout 2022.

Follow @brooklyngirlsread and sign up here to receive our newsletter.
