Through vivid storytelling, historical research, personal narrative, and spiritual practice, Dr. Cleveland introduces readers to the Black Madonna, a powerful symbol who has inspired generations seeking refuge, healing, courage, and liberation.
Traveling from Haiti to South Africa, from the Philippines to Europe, The Black Madonna uncovers stories of resistance, collective resilience, and spiritual transformation while inviting readers into reflective practices that move beyond learning into lived experience.
The evening will include a conversation with the author, audience Q&A, and a book signing.
