About the Event
The Blasian March Book Fair returns for another year! We give out FREE books of all ages and genres from Black, Asian, and Blasian authors that share our histories, our struggles against white supremacy, and our ideas for collective liberation. All day, enjoy free books, food, and community resources! From 3-4, enjoy performances from award-winning poets KÁNYIN Olorunnisola, 2021 Brooklyn Poets Fellow Zora Satchell, and drag from the FABULOUS Jolli B! Join us at 4 PM for a panel on Black-Asian solidarity, featuring Forbes 50 over 50 and Time 100 Philanthropy awardee Hali Lee from Asian Women Giving Circle, Shadowbanned Magazine Founder / Editor-In-Chief Sydney Ziems, and more moderated by poet and advocate Lynaé (Lé) DePriest.
