Book Launch: Register the Missing with Ansley Moon

ABOUT THE BOOK:

Register the Missing is a poetry collection exploring gender-based violence, adoption, immigration, cultural silences, and the impossible choices people make to survive.

Through poetry, Ansley Moon examines the complexities of identity, belonging, and the ways personal and cultural histories shape our understanding of ourselves and one another. The collection offers a feminist exploration of adoption and immigration while considering the silences and inheritances that follow across generations.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR:

Ansley Moon (they/them) is the author of poetry collections Register the Missing (Kaya Press) and How to Bury the Dead (Black Coffee Press).

They are an Asian American adoptee, poet, and educator. A graduate of the MFA program at The New School, Moon is a recipient of the Barbara Deming Memorial Fund. Their work has appeared in Agni, Hyphen Magazine, Southern Humanities Review, and elsewhere.
