Creative Stillness: Writing Toward Wholeness and Voice

Cafe con Libros hosts a panel celebrating the release of Creative Stillness Anthology, a collective gathering of poetry and essays that honors creativity as a practice of healing, reclamation, and devotion.

Structured in four movements—The Weaving, The Centering, The Offering, and The Surrendering—the anthology explores identity, cultural memory, grief, joy, mental health, and the generative power of rest. Born from a desire to replace the language of “writer’s block,” Creative Stillness affirms that creation is always unfolding—sometimes through silence, nourishment, or intentional pause.

Featured contributors will join Dhayana Alejandrina, poet and curator of Creative Stillness, founder of The Creative Writing Hour, in a collective conversation about sustaining artistic practice, honoring emotional inheritance, and cultivating creative spaces rooted in care, clarity, and self-trust.

The evening includes readings, discussion, and audience engagement. Books will be available for purchase and signing.
