Her work has received support from the Hurston/Wright Foundation, African Voices, Black Film Space, the Black TV & Film Collective, Wildacres Writing Residency, Vanessa Martir's Writing Our Lives, and Nicole Dennis-Benn's Stuyvesant Writers Workshop. Nicole is a future Lambda Literary Emerging Voices Fellow and future SAFTA Fellow (summer 2019). She is a 2018 Brooklyn Arts Nonfiction Prize finalist. She's also the creator of the Roots. Wounds.
