We welcome your rage. We know it is love!
With Love and (W)Rage isn’t your average symposium. Join us for a day long convening of Black feminist backtalk- honoring the Black feminist tradition of disruption, troublemaking and speaking back to power. This is for the Black girls who remain unpalatable—steady fire brimming underneath our skin—we put out a call to discussion.
Featuring all your faves, thee Crunk Black Feminist, Dr. Brittney Cooper on the keynote, a panel with author and digital disruptor, Dr. Jenn M. Jackson, visionary poet and powerhouse Bay Davis. Performances and movement backtalk by Monet Movement Productions: The Collective and Enya Kalia Creations. This features a community art installation, a co-created micro-exhibition of prose, poetry, painting, photography, collage etc- in conversation with Black and queer Feminist words and portraits.
