Storytime with Misty Copeland!

Misty Copeland visits Brooklyn Children’s Museum for a special celebration and reading of her new picture book, Bunheads, Act 2: The Dance of Courage, presented in partnership with Café Con Libros bookstore. Following the reading, audience members will be able to participate in a Q&A with Misty about what inspired her to write the book, and about her storied career in ballet. Afterward every family will be able to take a photo with Misty!

Tickets are limited and include one pre-signed copy of the book per family/order.

About Bunheads, Act 2: The Dance of Courage

In this inspiring follow-up to Bunheads, Misty and her friends learn the ballet Don Quixote—a dramatic tale of a knight’s search for his true love. When Misty’s best friend Cat lands a lead role but suffers an injury, she shows grace and strength in the face of disappointment, reminding everyone what courage and friendship really look like.
