Black History & Women's History Celebration Bookshelf
Mission:
For 25 years, The New York Center for Children has provided free, bilingual, trauma-focused, comprehensive evaluation and therapy services to victims of child abuse and their families, for as long as their healing requires. In addition, NYCC provides free tutoring, mentoring, and extracurricular events. The center’s services are offered in a child-friendly and welcoming environment. NYCC serves children from all five boroughs of New York City and is currently providing services remotely during the COVID-19 pandemic.
NYCC is also a leader in training programs on the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of child abuse, attended by professionals and graduate-level medical, psychology, and social work students.
About the Book Fair
In celebration of Black History Month and Women's Hist, The New York Center for Children is thrilled to partner with
Café Con Libros BK, a local, Black woman-owned bookstore.
Our goal is to provide books that support a diverse and welcoming environment where all children can heal and thrive. Books will be sent to The New York Center for Children unless you enter another location. In addition to your book donation, please consider a donation to The New York Center for Children and Café Con Libros BK.
